Welcome to Vanipedia, a dynamic, living encyclopedia of Śrīla Prabhupāda's words (vani). We are building an unparalleled digital repository of his text, audio, video, and images, comprehensively compiling his teachings from every angle of vision. More than just an archive, Vanipedia serves as a continual, worldwide platform for Śrīla Prabhupāda to actively teach the science of Krishna consciousness to the world for the benefit of all.
Introduction
Driven by an unprecedented vision, the Vanipedia project is a monumental and all-encompassing endeavor that unfolds as a magnificent seven-petaled lotus. Currently, four of these petals are actively blooming with the living presence of Śrīla Prabhupāda's eternal teachings:
- Vanipedia Petal: The site where you are now. Here you find over 5,000+ articles brilliantly summarizing the categories compiled in Vaniquotes.
- Vanisource Petal: The digital library. Here you can read the archived collection of Śrīla Prabhupāda's books, lectures, conversations and letters.
- Vaniquotes Petal: The thematic map. Compiling and studying in Vaniquotes is a penetrating way to absorb oneself in Śrīla Prabhupāda's teachings. Each Vaniquotes page contains one or more quotes and is organized under a system of categories based either on a theme, personality, scripture or on a key word or key phrase. To date there are over 40,000+ categories, 280,000+ pages, and 2,100,000+ quotes. As this petal grows, it naturally generates the educational material for the rest of the project.
- Vanimedia Petal: The audio-visual archive. Here, you may listen to and watch many audio and video clips of Śrīla Prabhupāda's lectures and conversations.
Steadily, Śrīla Prabhupāda's Vani Temple is becoming continuous festival of association. The global community of devotees appreciating and utilizing Vanipedia is increasing rapidly. By scrolling through What's in Vanipedia NOW you will surely find something that captures your heart and attention.
This global multilingual endeavor (translating in 100 languages) is succeeding entirely by the grace of the devotees - over 1,800 have already come forward to participate. Vanipedia Articles
The project of creating thematic articles began several years ago. At that time, all was done without the assistance of an LLM. Starting December 3rd, 2025, our Vani team began using Gemini LLM. Thanks to that, productivity skyrocketed incomparably to what was previously done "manually", and the momentum has steadily increased since then. After the first 6 months, we have been able to make 5,000+ articles. We can clearly see a strong acceleration in both production and coordination. At present, there is a dedicated team of 15 devotees actively engaged in:
- Creating articles
- Editing content
- Proofreading and refining
- Site & IT upkeep
This combined effort is what makes such steady growth possible. What This Means? In only a few months, thousands of structured presentations of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s vāṇī are now becoming accessible to a wider audience. This is not just numerical growth—it reflects an expanding reach and a growing opportunity for people to connect with transcendental knowledge. We are witnessing the steady development of a living Vāṇī temple. With your feedback, insights, and participation, this effort can continue to improve and expand.

- We have completed the major events in Śrīla Prabhupāda's life and also offering a chronological order of all recorded media of Śrīla Prabhupāda's vani. This time-line provides an authoritative documentation of all his existing teachings arranged in order of occurrence.

Uniting Śrīla Prabhupāda's Multi-lingual Family
- Collaborate with a team of 750+ devotees from 99+ languages to create multi-language subtitles for 1,080 - 1 to 15 minute audio clips translated into your language by Śrīla Prabhupāda's 50th Anniversary of arriving in the West on the 4th of October 2015. - We are placing these videos on YouTube, in our Vanimedia Channel and they can also be accessed via themes. Our YouTube playlists also makes it easy to play the videos in each language.

- In Vaniquotes you can now listen while reading Śrīla Prabhupāda's lectures, conversations, interviews and morning walks - feel his presence, feel his mood. To date there are over 3,500 pages with clips available and we are aiming for 5,000 by the end of 2015.

His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda is a self-realized, pure devotee of Lord Kṛṣṇa and a loving spiritual teacher. His life's mission was singular: to fulfill his spiritual master's desire by introducing the science of Kṛṣṇa consciousness to the world.
He shared the pure essence of Vedic wisdom without restriction, teaching us by his own example how to live according to scripture. Wishing that every person on earth might benefit from his wisdom, he wrote volumes of transcendental literature and left countless recorded instructions to ensure his divine guidance would remain available forever.

But, as soon as the finger is joined with this body, it has got millions and trillions of dollars' value. Invaluable. Similarly, we are now disconnected with God, or Kṛṣṇa, by this material condition. Forget... Not disconnected. Connection is there. God is supplying our all necessities.
