Prabhupāda Instructs His Disciples on Giving the Highest Benediction

- They are searching after God. We are giving God: "Here is God. Here is His name. Here is His address. Here is occupation. Here is His father's name, His mother's name." Everything there is. It is not bogus.

- Other humanitarian or welfare societies are trying to give some patchwork. They cannot give relief to the stringent laws of nature: birth, death, old age and disease. But we are giving the final cure of the disease of condition of material existence.

Giving Association and Protection
The material atmosphere is highly contaminating, driving people toward sinful activities. To counteract this, Śrīla Prabhupāda established centers worldwide explicitly to give the public a chance for pure association. He taught that by mixing with advanced bhaktas, a conditioned soul's svabhāva, or nature, naturally transforms from material to spiritual.
- Association is required. Otherwise why we are opening so many centers? Just to give them the facility of association.
- We are opening so many centers all over the world - we have already 102 centers - just to give opportunity to all classes of men to associate with devotees and develop your love for God. This is the purpose. And we have no other purpose.
- If one associates with bhaktas, then one's svabhava, or nature, will change. Our Krsna consciousness movement is meant to give people good association so that this change may take place.
- Our opening of different center means we are giving chance. So those who are inmates of the temple, they should be also such nice devotees that anyone who will come in the association of devotees, he will immediately develop a sense of devotion.
Giving Kṛṣṇa-prasādam
Philosophical discourse alone may not attract everyone, but everyone needs to eat. Recognizing this, Śrīla Prabhupāda made the distribution of sanctified food a central pillar of the movement. He encouraged his disciples to give out first-class prasādam freely, explaining that simply by eating this offered food, the public is unknowingly making immense spiritual advancement.
- For ordinary public, four hours' kirtana, chanting and dancing, bas. And then give them sufficient prasadam "Take prasada." This process. Because unless he has got little sraddha, he will simply put some false argument and waste your time.
- Whatever that will attract them. That I want. Krsna-prasadam. Don't waste; give them nice, palatable foodstuff. Give them one finest kachori, one nice samosa, two puris, they will be very glad.
- They go to hotel from miles together to take some palatable foodstuff - restaurant, hotel. And we cannot give nice krsna-prasadam? Why? Why you cannot give.

Giving the Medicine of the Holy Name
In the age of Kali, the most powerful and accessible spiritual process is the chanting of the holy names. Śrīla Prabhupāda trained his disciples to bring the saṅkīrtana party directly to the people. He described the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra as the ultimate medicine, which must be administered continuously to cure the disease of material illusion.
- Everyone has aversion. Therefore we give this chance to everyone to chant with us Hare Krsna mantra. This is the only. If you go on chanting, then gradually that cause of aversion will be cleared.
- The whole world is full of asuras, descendant of Hiranyakasipu, and it is very difficult. But if we give them chance to chant Hare Krsna mantra, gradually they will understand.
- We give all facilities to everyone without any distinction that - You come with us. Come in our temple, chant Hare Krsna mantra, and take little prasadam, refreshment, and gradually you become purified.
- We invite everyone, "Please come here, chant Hare Krsna mantra, dance with us, and when you are hungry, take some food. We are prepared to give you." So our program is very easy.
- We have to give the medicine just like horse is given medicine. Three men required to induce medicine to the mouth of the horse. So this is our duty, to inject Hare Krsna medicine.
